CNN boston-bruins Jerseys has smacked the “ish” out of Roland Martin.
The commentator has been suspended indefinitely for tweets he sent in the course of Sunday’s Tremendous Bowl that have been criticized as anti-gay, in accordance to a declaration produced Wednesday. One tweet stated, “If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham’s H&M underwear advertisement, smack the ish out of him!”
“Roland Martin’s tweets were regrettable and offensive,” CNN’s assertion reportedly mentioned. “Language that demeans is inconsistent with the values and way of life of our organization, and is not tolerated. We have been supplying cautious thought to this make a difference, and Roland will not be showing on our air for the time staying.”
“CNN today took a robust stand towards anti-LGBT violence and language that demeans any local community,” said Wealthy Ferraro, a spokesperson for the gay rights firm GLAAD. “Yesterday, Martin also spoke out versus anti-LGBT violence.
